Best Robot Vacuums and Mop Systems

This robotic vacuum-mop is a great option for apartment dwellers as it has smaller docking systems and has its own garbage bin. The application lets you set various modes and monitor the cleaning. The mopping function is also impressive.

Its obstacle avoidance and mapping are impressive, and it is able to mops extremely well, picking up pet hair, spills and dirt. It also self-empties and cleans and re-fills its tank.

Roomba Combo from iRobot

The iRobot Combo adds mopping to the already impressive vacuuming capabilities of the robot. It's not quite enough to take the place of our reigning Editors' Choice, the Deebot X1 Omni, which offers more cleaning power and an app for mobile that is simpler to use, but it does make an excellent choice. In our tests it was able to pick up dirt of all kinds and sizes from carpets and hard floors. Its obstacle avoidance may not be as advanced as other systems like LiDAR and structured light, but it can prevent collisions in the majority of cases.

The Combo includes many of the same features that the J7 Plus does, including the onboard acoustic sensor that can determine the floor's type and AI-powered Navigation. However, it lacks the ability control suction power using a hand. It's also a bit smaller than the vac-only version and doesn't have a a self-emptying dock.

In my experience in my experience, the Combo is a great choice for homes with a lot of space and its sleek design is one of the most attractive in the market. The clean matte black plastic appears better than most competitors' metallic or glossy finishes, and iRobot's little details--like a leather tab to open the bin on the board and a shelf within the dock to store extra bags--are more classy than a lot of its rivals'. The iRobot Combo makes it simple to create maps and establish Keep-Out Zones.

Roborock

Although Roborock is relatively new to the robotic vacuum and mop market however, it has already established its name because of its innovative cleaning technologies. Roborock's vacuums are world-class in suction, while its mopping systems utilize vibrating mops to keep floors of dust. Additionally, a variety of scheduling and mapping options let you fine-tune the schedule of cleaning for your specific home.

Another amazing Roborock feature is the obstacle avoidance, which lets the robot detect objects lower than its height. This is particularly beneficial for Roborock's top models, such as the Qrevo Master. It is the best in its class in terms of navigation, thanks to both vSLAM and LiDAR. Other robovacs have been known to slam into furniture and slam into pet faeces, without even noticing, but the Qrevo Master solves this problem with Reactive AI, which utilizes twin cameras to detect objects in the room.

Roborock robots come with a range of convenience features to cut down on maintenance. They include docks that are auto-emptied and mop-washing stations with many functions.  robot vacuum cleaner best  can eliminate the need to empty the dustbins manually and wash mops, which makes for a truly hands-off ownership experience. The app is simple to use due to its easy-to-use layout and its lag-free communication with the robot.

Hobot Legee D8

With a range of cleaning modes that are integrated and advanced mopping features, the Hobot Legee is one of the top robot vacuums and mops for both dry and wet floors. Its advanced navigation system integrates five different technologies to plan and follow the most efficient route. It can also identify different flooring materials and recognise obstacles with pinpoint accuracy. It can even raise its own 7mm to glide over carpets. The intelligent spray system uses the right amount of water to wash away stains without leaving unsightly water marks.

The Legee is the Gen 4 Robot, competes directly with the Eufy Robovac X9 or Ecovacs Deebot T20. Both of them cost more. It comes with more features than either one and has the more flexible D-shaped body that is able to clean the corners and under cabinets better than a round robot. Its sensors include 360deg 3D (Lidar, Encoder, Gyro, and E-compass) four forward-facing sensors, one right-side-facing FDS (IR ToF sensors for distance) and two pairs of cliff detectors in the front and back (most robots only have one pair). The robot also includes Legee SLAM, which helps to reduce the bump-and-grind issues that cause problems for Gen 4 Robots.

In contrast to other robots, the Legee features a built-in trash compactor and can use the less raunchy 5 GHz Wi-Fi band. The LuLu mop washing station is included and is able to wash, refill and dry your mop's 'cloth. You can use the mop up to six times longer than other mops. It also cuts down on waste and the frequency of emptying the bin.

Karcher RCV 5

Popular for its pressure washers and garden tools, Karcher has been dabbling in robot vacuums for quite a time and this is the brand's most advanced model. It can create maps for your home with LiDAR, and can be programmed to vacuum or mop. It also differentiates between carpets and hard floors to ensure that you don't end up with the dreaded puddles on your carpet.

Its navigation is excellent, avoiding furniture or rugs with ease. It can also lift itself over steps. The robot can be customised by adjusting a range of settings that include cleaning schedules and which rooms it should clean. It also has a handy  emergency button that can oblige the robot to return to its base when it is running out of power, and it can be programmed to automatically shut itself off if a storm is approaching.

The RCV 5 is easy to use and, although quite large at almost 4kg, it's not difficult to manoeuvre around furniture. Those with small children will appreciate the safety features, such as sensors that warn you to avoid the stairs. Once charged it will take just several hours to fully charge and the two buttons at the top will blink green to indicate that it is ready to go.

Mova E30 Ultra

The Mova E30 Ultra robot vacuum cleaner balances advanced technology with affordability. It is a competitor to models such as the Dreame L10 Ultra or Roborock's most popular Q Revo. The Mova E30 Ultra is a lower-cost model, however it offers features that are not available in many other models. It uses sensors to alter its settings to suit different surfaces and floors, as well as to identify areas that are less clean and ensure they are given enough attention. It can also move at slow speeds to avoid the destruction of furniture and walls.

The device can help you map your home's interior and display it in the app. You can also mark specific areas and objects that you would like the vacuum to stay away from. The device will slow down when it detects an obstacle and prevent itself from crashing into it. It is also equipped with a smart dustbin that alerts you when it's full, so you can empty it before you need to.

The Mova E30 Ultra offers a cost-effective solution for those who want to delegate their cleaning chores. It's a robot mop and vacuum cleaner that can clean your floors without needing to lift a finger. It features a clever design that improves corner cleaning by up to 60 percent. It comes with a suction capacity of up to 7,000 Pa and RoboSwing arm, and can be controlled via the app or voice assistants like Alexa or Siri.

Beko RCV3

The Beko RCV3 is a stylish and feature-packed hybrid robot mop/vac that does a bang up job of keeping floors spick and span. While it's not able to raise its mops on carpets and rugs like the winning Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra it's excellent at cleaning hard floors as well as tackling damp mopping duties with impressive speed. It has a self emptying bin, a high level of suction, an array of mopping options, and a premium application that runs on iOS and Android.

It's a little smaller than the other models and its main brush is shorter but it was able to do a quick job in our test room. The rotating brush on the side for edges is a nice feature and, while it couldn't remove dirt from our rugs and was not as effective as other competitors, it did a very good job overall.

Cleaning parameters can be pre-set for each room, and the robot will create detailed maps of rooms by using LiDAR's built-in navigation. The application is simple to use and comes with a variety of voice output options that can keep you informed of the status of your robot. Regular updates to the software improve and extend its performance. The app is able to remotely control the RCV3 even when you are not at home.
