The Combo includes many of the same features that the J7 Plus does, including the onboard acoustic sensor that can determine the floor's type and AI-powered Navigation. However, it lacks the ability control suction power using a hand. It's also a bit smaller than the vac-only version and doesn't have a a self-emptying dock.
In my experience in my experience, the Combo is a great choice for homes with a lot of space and its sleek design is one of the most attractive in the market. The clean matte black plastic appears better than most competitors' metallic or glossy finishes, and iRobot's little details--like a leather tab to open the bin on the board and a shelf within the dock to store extra bags--are more classy than a lot of its rivals'. Although Roborock is relatively new to the robotic vacuum and mop market however, it has already established its name because of its innovative cleaning technologies. While it's not able to raise its mops on carpets and rugs like the winning Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra it's excellent at cleaning hard floors as well as tackling damp mopping duties with impressive speed. It has a self emptying bin, a high level of suction, an array of mopping options, and a premium application that runs on iOS and Android.
It's a little smaller than the other models and its main brush is shorter but it was able to do a quick job in our test room. The rotating brush on the side for edges is a nice feature and, while it couldn't remove dirt from our rugs and was not as effective as other competitors, it did a very good job overall.
Cleaning parameters can be pre-set for each room, and the robot will create detailed maps of rooms by using LiDAR's built-in navigation. The application is simple to use and comes with a variety of voice output options that can keep you informed of the status of your robot. Regular updates to the software improve and extend its performance. The app is able to remotely control the RCV3 even when you are not at home.
